When the time came for my wife and I to get serious about investing for our future, we researched what firms we trusted the most and Edward Jones stood out to us for its focus on relationships and understanding clients’ needs. I was so impressed that I took the next step and began the process of joining the team not just as a client, but as a Financial Advisor.As a mathematics teacher in my previous career, I thrived on analyzing where my students’ knowledge was and then worked and partnered with them to reach their educational goals. Now as a financial advisor, I still thrive on the time spent understanding where my clients are financially and then partnering with them to create a strategy to reach their goals. Both situations satisfy my desire to listen and understand the people across from me and to reach a goal they may have thought was unattainable.At our branch, we work carefully to listen and understand the needs and goals of our clients and communicate effectively with them. Our office is a team on a mission to provide quality service and appropriate tailored guidance to each client we encounter. We have a passion to work with those who understand the importance of financial responsibility and those who value quality advice along with clear explanations.Being originally from Wisconsin, it took some time to adjust to the summers in Arizona, but after three years living here with my wife, I can confidently say I don't miss the Midwestern winters. We take advantage of the weather by hiking in the mountains, heading north to go camping, and driving our Mazda Miata to car shows on the weekends.I became a financial advisor in order to serve families in a deep and meaningful way. Our financial health determines so much of our life's trajectory and it is an honor to help my clients organize, plan, protect and transfer their wealth.
