About Sam Ould

As a freelancer for the last ten years, I know the best outcome for your event from a unique viewpoint, having a working lens and relationship across a vast array of many suppliers, agencies and identities globally, in Australia and Queensland. I've been a leading industry Show Caller and Producer with 30+ years experience across three key areas; Theatrical Stage Management, Sport Presentation and Corporate events. Bringing theatricality to the stadium experience, my Sport Presentation alone has seen me deliver match days, races and tournaments in 20 countries; 35 disciplines of 25 different sports (13 Olympic sports) in over 80 venues across the world. I've recently been sought in the Middle East to lead teams as an Event Control Manager, having recently being contracted for the Red Sea International Film Festival 2023 and finishing (the delayed) World Expo Dubai in the April of 2022. That means two World Expo's for me; Brisbane in 1988 when I first started and Expo Dubai 2020! I'm routinely entrusted to show call and deliver some of the world's biggest events such as the first Rugby Sevens Tournament at the Olympics, the first Gold Medal event at the Youth Olympic Games, World Cups & Finals Series', Grand Finals (NRL, AFL, A-League, W-League and Qatar Basketball) and a huge number of Launches, Government Congresses, Conferences, Event Draws, and Ceremonies; broadcasted across the globe with identities such as the President of FIFA, the President of the IOC, Her Majesty the Queen, His Holiness the Pope, five Prime Ministers, an Emir, a Sheik and a Shieka or two, and Hollywood A-listers at a film festival! Since 1994, I've toured Australia and New Zealand at least a dozen times on musicals, tournaments and with the Queens Baton Relay. As a Brisbane based professional, there is almost no major event venue in the state that I don't have personal experience with. Internationally, I toured as Producer Supervisor on 2 world tours for Van Wagner and the FIVB for the inaugrual first two seasons of the Volleyball Nations League across Thailand, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, The Netherlands, two cities in Australia as well as producing the finals and first ever VNL medal ceremony in China. I'm happy to work directly for Federations, LOC's, Clubs, National Unions or their providers. Whilst working almost exclusively as a Show Caller, I also keep a unique perspective by working in capacities from Floor / Stage Manager, to DJ and Show Caller right up to Producer Supervisor and Event Control Room Manager.
