I am a “Full Stack” web/application developer with over 20 years experience. Meaning I can do the full range of development…design and layout, build and deployment, programming and coding, application development, database work, etc. I have been working at my present employer, Priests for Life (PFL), for the last 12 and a half years as Web Development Manager & SQL Developer. PFL is the largest Catholic pro-life organization in the US. Before that I worked at my previous employer (Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN)) for 18 and a half years. EWTN is a global Catholic cable television network. The first 9 years at EWTN I worked in the Marketing Department and then for over 9 years as Webmaster…which made me, basically, the Director of the Online Services Department. I have been involved in a great many projects…large and small, domestic and international, alone and as part of a team and in coordination with other organizations. I taught web development for a while at Herzing Institute in Birmingham and gave seminars on web development to an international group in Rome, Italy. Skills include: • Experienced in a multitude of web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Asp.net, CSS, XML, Bootstrap, WordPress, etc. • Experienced in setting up and managing Microsoft ISS (Internet Information Server) webserver software. • Primary programming language is C# using the Microsoft.NET framework and Microsoft Visual Studio but have worked in PHP as well. • Databases: Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL using SQL Server Management Studio - Creating databases and tables, writing queries, views, stored procedures and creating and scheduling SQL jobs and SSIS packages. • Databases: Experienced in Microsoft Access and MYSQL. • Experienced in Microsoft Office. • Experienced in audio and video editing and Photoshop.
