About Sam Robertson

My 20-year career has spanned television, digital, radio, print and documentary. I've covered the globe with senior roles across four continents - Oceania, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. A team player, I love driving strategy and building multi-cultural teams in multi-disciplinary newsrooms and editorial productions. Nothing beats the buzz of creating programmes and content alongside dedicated people who, like me, feel that a well told story in any form has the power to unlock minds and hearts. In beautiful Aotearoa we are blessed to have such diversity of Te Reo, English and other languages to enhance our capacity to do so. Journalism is my first love. I also have a Master's degree in Screenwriting because I believe everything begins and ends with story. It defines us as human beings, it helps us understand the world in which we live and provides the tools through which we share our ideas and ideals.
