About Sam Ryding

I started at Virgin Media in 2014 ago as an intern, after which I returned to university to finish what I started and was given the opportunity to come back to VM on the graduate scheme, which I snapped up. From there I accelerated my two year scheme into one year as I had found by best landing spot, an engineering support role in the technical sites M&E department. I have worked in the Capacity, Strategy and now Delivery teams giving me a wide spread knowledge of the technical estate and the different cogs that keep it moving. When moving into my current Delivery my role changed into a Project Management one which I have now settled into nicely, completing the APM PFQ and PMQ courses and exams with a 72% on the PMQ! I have been apart of more projects then I can remember as at VMO2 we are always looking to change to better provide for our network teams and service the customers. I am now managing and governing those projects and hope to expand my portfolio, knowledge and skills in the future.
