I spent my early career overseeing EHS on large-scale environmental cleanup projects before settling in New York, where I earned a master’s degree in industrial hygiene and provided EHS oversight at 9/11’s Ground Zero. Over my 20+-year career, I have designed, implemented, and continuously enhanced EHS programs, production safety plans, business continuity and disaster recovery strategy, safety incentive programs, and more. My background includes: Developing best-in-class EHS programs for world-renowned venues, such as Madison Square Garden, Beacon Theatre, and Radio City Music Hall, as well as the New York Knicks’ and Rangers’ training facility and 8 corporate office spaces. My leadership most recently helped MSG decrease workers’ comp cases by 14% in 1 year. Orchestrating disaster response and recovery alongside Nassau Community College leaders, FEMA, and the American Red Cross in response to Hurricanes Sandy and Irene. Dedication to maintaining and sharing updated knowledge on best safety practices, as evidenced by certifications—including CIH, CSP, and CHMM—and extensive professional training hours with OSHA (10- and 30-hour certifications in construction and general industry), ICS, ISO, and more.
