About Sam Sawhook

Sam is 29 years old and already an experienced startup operator and skilled financial talent. He co-founded nth Venture in 2021 which has launched several successful employee-owned companies, including Falconer. Now he leads Falconer where he leads a team integrating all of the launch, support, and investing necessary to build game-changing companies in one roof. Prior to starting nth Venture, Sam lead the first Army-wide team to leverage AI/ML to identify high-risk transactions. He started his financial career auditing the SEC, Department of Defense, and Treasury as a financial auditor with the Government Accountability Office, where he uncovered $35 trillion in unsupported accounting adjustments. During the height of the pandemic, Sam helped Charles Schwab perform conversions of their bank charters and audit their trust companies. He advised the four-star military research and development Army Futures Command and the $30 billion Army Working Capital Fund to remediate key audit issues. He is an Army reservist and a recently returning veteran of Operation Atlantic Resolve where he served as a convoy commander delivering supplies & munitions to Ukraine. He has a wife and two dogs and lives in his hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas.
