About Sam Silver

I am a graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.S in Communication Honors and a minor in Business. During my time in College Station I was involved in multiple organizations that encouraged leadership skills, problem-solving, creative thinking, and fostered the love for helping the community. Within my first year at Texas A&M I was fortunate to be apart of an organization called Fish Aides. Being one of forty students, this leadership organization partnered with the Student Government Association (SGA) with an emphasis placed on developing integrity and community for the future of Texas A&M. Being a member gave me an opportunity to take on leadership and encouraged me to continue to be involved. Youth Impact as well as the Big Event Staff Assistant created my love for volunteer work. It helped me to engage with my community in ways I would have otherwise never gotten the opportunity to. It showed me the importance of loving thy neighbor, while at the same time fostering critical thinking and problem-solving. These organizations shaped my college experience, and ultimately shaped me as a person. They have taught me the importance of leading by example, having a purpose, imaginative thought, having a strong community, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of the little details.
