My name is Sam. I'm Co-founder & CEO at MintPass. I'm on a mission to revolutionize travel experience sharing through digital souvenir collecting. Why am I building MintPass? My inspiration comes from a personal tradition—each year, my wife and I decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments collected from our travels. Each ornament means much more than the plastic or glass of which it's made as a physical artifact representing a travel memory, turning our tree into a visual diary of our journeys together. However, with these mementos tucked away in the garage for 11 months, I knew there had to be a better way to properly commemorate and showcase such prized moments in our lives through digital means. That’s how MintPass was born. We're offering a digital platform to collect, authenticate, and share travel experiences, similar to a pinned map on the wall, or stamps in a passport book, made more dynamic for the digital age. Not only does MintPass allow you to collect for your own posterity, but it also enables you to inspire others by sharing your unique travel journey while unlocking various rewards along the way for doing so.
