About Sam Spilker

I was the founder and brewer of Spilker Ales for 22 years, Nebraska's first free-standing brewery to open since the prohibition era. I fuse technological advances, process development, and project collaboration to achieve needed outcomes. My experience is full of valuable lessons learned. Continuously integrating and improving brewing operations in a changing environment has honed my ability to overcome challenges. I also managed sales, research, and staff. Building teamwork and communicating across multiple professional disciplines is comfortable for me, and I enjoy learning through those experiences. My role at Baxter International has honed my abiIities to repair and diagnose many types of equipment. Currently I perform preventative maintenance and repair on many types of medsurg beds, stretchers, and operating tables. I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, which gives me a strong foundation in scientific methods and analysis.
