About Sam Steele

I love to solve complex problems with a combination of research, strategy, design and technology. Here’s a few things to know about me: I think about people first. I work with clients to understand their problems and use research and insight, combined with years of experience to create outstanding work. I have a reputation for being confident, diligent, knowledgeable, pragmatic, and an excellent communicator. I can adapt and apply my methods to any environment I find myself in. I’ve enjoyed many positions in my career across product and service design, digital innovation and advertising. For the past six years I have been building UX design teams within companies discovering the discipline for the first time. I’m proudly a self-taught designer. I’ve worked my way up from designing leaflets for small companies on the Isle of Wight to leading award winning work for the likes of Google, Spotify and Nike. I’ve been lucky to have worked in lots of different places. My career has taken me to San Francisco, Amsterdam and Manchester. I've worked in companies ranging from 5 people in one room, to globally.
