I am a highly enthusiastic and passionate sport business management graduate. Graduating from Leeds Beckett University in 2017 with a 2:1. I have experience in managing large members of staff working in the drones, retail and sales industry. I began my working career in retail after leaving school at 16. I Worked my way up from a warehouse operative, while assisting in various different shop fits to Mega Store Manager of one of the largest turnover stores. In my time as a store manager I worked in several sites across Yorkshire, where I had to adapt my approach and management style accordingly. I gained a great depth of knowledge in how to manage different types of individuals from all walks of life. As a retail store manager you are responsible for everything and have to be an expert in every field. From health and safety to visual merchandising to the training and development of your subordinates. My time as a senior member of management also allowed me to have the pleasure of seeing many of my junior management team progress significantly in their own careers; something I will always take great pleasure in doing. After COVID and close to almost a decade in retail I desired a new challenge. I joined the Buy it Direct group as a B2B account manager. I currently handle an account base that contributes a £2.5million turnover to the business. My role is to handle my clients day to day needs and fix any issues that may arise imminently, all while also expanding and flourishing my account base. A small team was assembled in 2023 to handle all drone requirements at the business, which I am also excited to be at the forefront of. An industry with endless potential for growth!
