About Sam Tharkay

Sam Tharkay is currently a Cloud Architect with Booz Allen. With a diverse background ranging from Aerospace to Cloud engineering, Sam brings a unique perspective to his work and has a proven track record of success in the field. Sam participated in an Engineering Career Foundation Program (ECFP) with Boeing, where he had the opportunity to rotate through four different life cycles and business units. This experience included roles in Flight Test Engineering for the 737 Max-10 program, as a Systems Engineer for Requirements in a Defense program in Philadelphia, as a Design Tooling Engineer on the Tooling Rapid Action Change Cell (TRACC) team in Saint Louis, and as a Systems Engineer working on verification and validation for Defense program training systems. Prior to the ECFP, Sam was a Manufacturing Engineer in the Boeing Defense Program (BDS) in St. Louis, MO. He also has multiple internships in the Transportation, Construction, and Additive Manufacturing fields. Sam received his B.E. in Manufacturing Engineering from Stony Brook University and his M.E. in Systems Engineering from Cornell University. He is proficient in Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, NX-11, communication, leadership, and management. During his time at Stony Brook University, Sam was active in extracurricular activities and held leadership positions in Theta Tau, Pi Kappa Phi, and Chi Alpha Epsilon. When not working, Sam enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, watching movies, and staying fit. He is a well-rounded individual who brings both professional and personal strengths to the table, making him a valuable asset in any work setting.
