About Sam Trumble

I am a business student at University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in finance. The past two summers I have been a part of IGM’s Strategy team in the Finance Department as an Intern. During my internships I was able to be a part of many Strategy Team processes such as project portfolio reporting and financial oversight, data management, opportunity evaluation, business case development, strategy planning, developing new revenue growth opportunities, and conducting research and insights on macro-economic, innovation, and industry trends. This summer, I’m excited to continue developing my skills as an intern with Matthews Tribal, a real estate development firm. I’ll have the opportunity to support teams across the company while gaining hands-on experience with real estate project development, financial modeling, and project tracking tools like Yardi and Smartsheet. Alongside my course load, I have gained experience through extracurricular activities, like being a member of the University of Denver Men's Lacrosse Team, and a captain of the Carleton University Men's Lacrosse Team that carries valuable lessons for my future career. I am eager to connect with other professionals in the industry and continue growing as a business student, and to explore, learn, and excel in careers that may harbor my strategic and analytical skills as well as being a part of fast-paced teams and projects that provide opportunities for growth.
