About Sam Tyrrell

As a 10-year-old, hearing my family discuss the collapse of the housing market and the Great Recession revealed to me how life-changing finances can be. The Recession’s widespread disastrous effect made me both afraid of and intrigued in finance. Ever since then, I have desired to master an understanding of the financial world. Immediately after high school, I worked two years for U.S. Congressman Daniel Webster and ALDI USA respectively to avoid college debt. After 11 months, I was promoted to shift manager at ALDI USA and opened and closed the store with my team of 4. I continued working for ALDI USA at Bob Jones University while pursuing my bachelor’s degree in accounting. My sophomore year I accepted an offer from KPMG, LLP to be an audit intern in Orlando, FL. After 3.5 years of college, I plan to graduate from Bob Jones University with a 4.0 GPA and the CPA-required 150 credits in December of 2022. Upon graduation, I will seek CPA licensure before continuing my career as an auditor or financial advisor.
