Background

About Sam Vaughn

I am an intelligence analyst with over a decade of experience. During my career in the intelligence industry, I have had the opportunity to contribute to a range of tactical and strategic missions, produce national-level products, and engage with theater-level commanders. My Korean language proficiency has played a key role in my career, with the majority of my experience occurring in combined/joint environments. Beyond the typical skills expected of an analyst (data mining, qualitative/quantitative analysis, etc.), I am knowledgeable in both traditional and agile project management methodologies. I am confident that the synergy of my intelligence analysis and project management skillsets results in the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Combining these skillsets allows me to create value in a field of knowledge-work in which value can often feel indistinct, capricious, and impossible to quantify.
