With two decades of experience in national and state public sectors, Sam is a passionate and visionary leader who drives policy and transformation initiatives to improve the lives and outcomes of First Nations peoples. She is currently lending her strategy and transformation talents across SA government through executive secondments. Sam is working across different agencies sharing her approaches to developing and implementing strategies, programs, and partnerships to improve outcomes for First Nations peoples and other groups who experience diverse, equity and inclusion barriers.Sam has a proven track record of tackling complex and multifaceted problems with creativity, logic, and research. She is an adept facilitator who can engage and inspire diverse audiences, including governments, stakeholders, and communities, through respectful and inclusive dialogue. She applies a strong ethical lens to her work and ensures that the voices and perspectives of First Nations people are heard and valued in decision-making processes. Sam is a trusted and reliable executive who supports and challenges senior leaders and ministers to turn ideas into concrete realities. She is committed to advancing the Closing the Gap agenda and making a positive difference for all intersections of the community.
