About Sam Whitaker

Over 35 years experience in Civil Engineering Industry, last 20 years or so based in the Marine Construction industry but these projects have always involved elements of land based civil engineering, such as buildings and groundworks. Extensive management experience up to senior level across a diversity of civil engineering fields Have worked on construction projects across the globe and completed such projects as Hinkley Aggregate Jetty for Costain/EDF working in partnership with the client, the main contractor and the designers through ECI. Marine fields include-Jetty Construction, Bridge Construction, Offshore Windfarms, Power Stations-Nuclear and Gas, Diffuser Construction, Marine Current Turbines, Wave Energy, DeSalination Plants, Shaft drilling and Sinking, Marine Salvage. Land based fields have involved the construction of roads, bridges, schools, hospitals as well as general infrastructure works. Looking for roles from PM level up where I can be activly involved and contribute my experience.
