About Sam Wilkins

I am currently a student at UCL, studying their unique BASc, or Arts and Sciences degree programme. It has an interdisciplinary focus that allows me to study a breadth of modules, including mathematics, anthropology and cultural studies, as well as undertaking core modules that strengthen my skills in qualitative and quantitative data research and analysis. Specific research I have undertaken this year involves: investigating the financial, environmental and social impact of Heathrow's third runway, the cultural impact of urban planning in London, and how the advancement of AI might impact the UK labour market. I write for two of the arts and cultures magazines at UCL, Era Journal and UnCL Magazine (which I also am on the design team for), and have a keen interest in London's art and music scene, as well as regularly playing for the pool and snooker society.
