About Sam Woods

Although of British origin, I knew that I always wanted to study and live in mainland Europe. Hence why I am now a student at the Rijksuniversiteit in Groningen, NL studying Economics and Business Economics Bsc.While my foundation in Economics and Business Economics continues to inform my analytical approach and helped me during my time as a member of the Groningen Investment Team, my passion has evolved toward application engineering, where I apply the same rigorous problem-solving skills to create innovative digital solutions. My experience as an App Engineer has opened my mind to the limitless possibilities of technology in transforming how we interact with data, in-person, and at conferences & events. As an active and driven individual, I want to help to make a difference in the world, through helping others and being clear in the way that I come across. With past experience in small companies, I feel like I am suited to all types of environments, and open to new ways of thinking.
