I am a senior Biology undergraduate at Temple University seeking to pursue my interests in the fields of clinical and biomedical research and bioinformatics. My passion for studying biomedicine has garnered me a truly global and diverse education spanning continents and provides me today with a strong theoretical background in molecular and cellular biology, genomic evolutionary medicine, biostatistics, biophysics, genetics, public health, and human behavior. I am proficient in various laboratory skills including DNA extraction and analysis, 3D visualization software like Spartan 14 and Chimera, infrared and UV spectroscopy, dissection techniques, and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. I enjoy being an innovative problem-solver and adapting to challenges in lab work. I am self-driven and independent while also being an enthusiastic collaborator through effective communication. Working at the Temple chapter of the Grey Matters Neuroscience Journal as a general editor enables me to employ my interests in scientific writing to present scientific data in a constructive yet straightforward manner. I am deeply influenced by the growing rift in the healthcare needs of society and strive to create tangible change by translating complex biomedical requirements through innovation, research, and technology.
