Background

About Samadhan Lomate

I am currently a research scientist at the Aarti Research and Technology Center, where I lead a dedicated team focused on fixed bed reactor technologies and vapor phase chemistries. With a robust background as a PhD and postdoctoral researcher, I have honed my skills in industrial research, effectively bridging academic insights with industrial applications. I am specialize in developing novel catalyst materials for vapor phase reactions, including dehydration, hydrogenation, ammoxidation, isomerization, n-alkylation, c-alkylation and nitration. My work involves designing and executing catalyst synthesis and characterization, ensuring optimal performance in various applications. I possess expertise in fixed bed reactor design and operations (liquid/vapor phase). I have contributed to the field through numerous peer-reviewed articles in international journals, as well as filing patents for innovative findings. My research has been presented at both national and international conferences, underscoring my commitment to knowledge sharing. Collaboration is key to my approach; I work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize catalytic processes, leading to quantifiable improvements in yield and cost efficiency. Additionally, I engage with academic and industry partners to transfer research findings into practical applications, fostering innovation in the chemical industry.
