About Samanda Barrett

With over 30 years of experience in the recreation field, I am passionate about creating and delivering engaging and meaningful programs for the residents at CCRC of Florida Presbyterian Homes of Lakeland. As the Life Enrichment Director, I work with a team of dedicated and compassionate staff to design, implement, and evaluate a variety of activities that enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the residents. I also partner with other departments, community organizations, and volunteers to ensure the quality and diversity of the recreation services. Some of the programs I have initiated or supported include music therapy, gardening, yoga, art, trivia, bingo, and pet visits. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to enrich the lives of the residents and foster a sense of community and belonging at FPH. I believe that recreation is an essential part of holistic care and I am committed to providing the best possible experience for the residents and their families.
