About Samantha Bigham

My career started in South Africa. I worked in one of the largest Banks called ABSA (Amalgamated Banks of South Africa). I started in their call center and worked my way up to a quality specialist. I then moved onto another company for career improvement. This was the largest medical aid in South Africa called Discovery Health. I started in their call center and within the 5 years I worked there I worked myself up to a Data Specialist. I handled members complaints and queries through the call center. I have maintained a high level of customer service throughout my career. I immigrated to the USA and obtained a job at Bally Total Fitness. I started off as a Member Service Representative and within 2 months I was moved to another club and was promoted to a Operations Manager. This position was vast and dealt with many areas of the business. I managed 5 departments namely the Porters, Nursery, Front desk, Pool and Retail. The company cut hours and I eventually manned the front desk for most of the daily hours, taking calls, setting appointments, greeting and communicating with members and still maintained my duties as an Operations Manager. I moved from Virginia to Florida on Military orders and fell pregnant. Despite being put on bed rest I worked as a Temp for a few months and Volunteered at Toys For Tots. 2012-Present I have been in the USN as a Hospital Corpsman, ICU, shipboard trauma medicine and pay and personnel are fields in which I have thrived. I am an easily trained individual who strives to provide the utmost customer satisfaction. I possess the skill to learn policies, rules and regulations. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
