About Samantha Roe

Samantha Roe, a sign language interpreter with 18 years of experience, has been dedicated to breaking down communication barriers between the Deaf and hearing communities. As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA) married to her Deaf husband, Jeremy Roe, for 17 years, Samantha's personal and professional life is deeply intertwined with the world of sign language. Since 2019, Samantha has served at Deaf Bible Society. Currently her role is serving as the Interpreter Workforce Specialist. A ministry within Deaf Bible Society serving language access needs across the Bible Translation Movement, contributing significantly to the organization's mission. Samantha has and continues to serve as an interpreter coordinator for numerous conferences, overseeing both American Sign Language, and International Sign Interpreters. Additionally, Samantha coordinates interpreters for various conferences overseas, managing teams of various language interpreters. Committed to growth, Samantha is currently expanding her skills by learning International Sign from various sources. Her advocacy goes beyond her professional duties, as she actively works to raise awareness and create inclusive spaces for the Deaf community. Samantha is deeply passionate about serving the Deaf Community, eagerly anticipating the day when every Deaf individual can access God’s Word in their heart language.
