As a seasoned management professional committed to fostering growth and achieving organizational success through strategic people management, I thrive where I can significantly impact employee retention, driven by the growth of individual contributors, magnifying the overarching success of the entire organization. I passionately believe that cultivating robust relationships is the bedrock of both personal and professional development. Drawing upon my extensive experience as a people manager, I've had the privilege of collaborating with over 200 school leaders, placing a strong emphasis on the personalization of processes to align seamlessly with specific objectives. My journey, serving as a team leader of school leaders, has been marked by substantial scaling, from talent acquisition and training to performance management. This integrated approach is centered on employee training and development. Organizational support structures that can be customized for individual growth leverage my deep understanding of management principles and pedagogy. Delivering training and support to establish competency and agency at the individual level has led to elevated levels of retention in my direct reports. Many of my direct reports have seamlessly advanced within the organization, assuming roles of increasing responsibility. At the heart of my management philosophy is effective communication, at both the large group setting as a speaker and trainer and at the individual level. Over the course of almost 8 years at Higher Ground Education, I have consistently applied this template, resulting not only in my personal and professional growth but also in my assumption of roles marked by escalating responsibility. Concurrently, I have solidified my standing as a coach and mentor to my peers, providing invaluable guidance within the organization. My leadership style places a premium on adaptability and innovation, coupled with a keen understanding of the intricacies of educational institutions. As the organizational leader on acquisitions, I have personally led teams managing the acquisition of over 32 schools. I organized and led the change management strategy, communication, and execution for each. While my professional journey is profoundly fulfilling, my most significant achievement is being a mother to four boys who have successfully transitioned into accomplished young men. Balancing the demands of motherhood, the challenges of leadership, and the rigors of organizational management has been my most formidable task, and it is the role of which I am most proud.
