I am an active researcher in data science and like to work on diverse and challenging data science problems. In the industry, I have worked in NLP, Time Series Analysis, Anomaly Detection, Remaining Life Estimation, etc. I worked on enhancing human comfort using cost-effective IoT and conditioning devices in academic research. Similarly, I worked on uplift marketing - targeted marketing to enhance return on investment. My Ph.D. dissertation is "Enhancing Human Comfort in Old Buildings using Data-Driven IoT Retrofits". In this research, I developed an algorithm to enhance human comfort. This solution comprises an ensemble forecasting algorithm to estimate conditioning demand and control pre-installed thermal devices using the Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed solution provides thermal comfort cost-effectively. I have to masters in Computer Science and Operation Research. I was honored with Gold Medals in both of these degrees. These degrees provided a strong foundation for optimization and computing and paved my way to theoretical and practical data sciences.
