About Samarth Barve

With 8 years of experience in the carbon and sustainability market, I am dedicated to developing high-integrity, scalable carbon projects that integrate community engagement, regenerative agriculture, technology innovation, and robust methodologies.I have hands-on experience with Article 6.2 projects, collaborating with government agencies and regulatory bodies to secure Letters of Authorisation (LoA), enable ITMO transactions, and align with corresponding adjustment and carbon pricing mechanisms. I also contribute to Article 6-labelled projects in the voluntary carbon market, ensuring host country alignment and readiness for international transfer. My work applies evolving Article 6.4 tools, methodologies, and guidelines to maintain consistency with the latest and Paris Agreement requirements. My portfolio includes biochar, livestock and methane mitigation, regenerative agriculture, plastic credit, and REDD+ & forestry projects under Gold Standard, Verra (VCS), GCC, Plan Vivo, and ACR, delivering measurable, verifiable climate outcomes aligned with emerging compliance frameworks.I bring deep expertise in carbon methodologies, MRV and DMRV systems, and international standards (CDM, GS, VCS, GCC, SD Vista, Plan Vivo, ACR etc.), supporting credible implementation and transparent governance across the project lifecycle.Passionate about practical climate action, I aim to bridge the gap between policy, methodology, and on-ground implementation, accelerating credible progress toward Net Zero and ESG goals.
