I, Dr. Sambit Ray, a Senior Research Scientist and Head of the Manufacturing and R&D Department at EffecMed Private Limited, with a strong focus on translating research into impactful advancements in bioceramics, biomedical and medical devices. My career spans 5 years of industrial and academic research, particularly in bone tissue regeneration, where I bring both technical expertise and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. In my current role, I lead the manufacturing department for implantable Class-C medical devices, adhering to ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards to ensure quality and compliance. I also drive R&D efforts focused on optimizing device efficacy, guiding the team in developing innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices. My academic background includes a Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering from the Department of Ceramic Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, where I specialized in Bioceramics scaffold application for bone tissue regeneration under the mentorship of Dr. Sudip Dasgupta.Core Expertise:1.
