About Sameena Hassam

Organisations everywhere are looking to the cloud as an answer to their scaling ambitions. They are right; the cloud is often the answer, but only if it's done right. Capacitas exists to help our clients leverage the cloud. We do this by challenging the myths around cloud platforms; our approach has shown that cloud platforms can be flexible, cost effective, agile AND scalable. There is no need to pick between these outcomes; you can achieve them all. As CEO of Capacitas, I have led Capacitas's expansion as we challenge the cloud status quo for customers across UK and the US. Our focus on the customer problem has resulted in impressive growth of over 300% in 3 years. And we're just getting started. I am a dedicated and result-driven executive, with breadth of experience across business planning, P&L, strategy and operations. I am not scared to get my hands dirty - this stems from my outcome-focussed nature with a relentless focus on the cause. I am passionate about growing businesses and watching them thrive. My extensive experience in the consultancy sector means that I take a mindful and nurturing approach to unlocking business growth, with an understanding of the people and cultures that enable a business to grow. Prior to my position as CEO of Capacitas, I held a variety of technical consultant roles at Capacitas, helping our customers, such as easyJet, RS Components and Domino's to overcome the obstacles to growth, delivering scalable, cost-efficient and stable systems.
