Hi there! My name is Sameer, I’m a certified IT professional with a passion for solving problems, simplifying tech, and helping people feel more confident with the tools they use every day. My background blends enterprise IT support, AV systems, and cloud fundamentals, with a growing skill set in scripting, automation, and security. Right now, I support IT operations at Baruch College, where I provide technical support for audiovisual infrastructure, manage classroom technology systems, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. I handle service tickets through ServiceNow, assist with campus-wide deployments, and support administrative systems used by faculty and staff. I’ve also contributed to cybersecurity incident recovery, device imaging, and configuration using tools like KACE and Active Directory. I’m certified in CompTIA Network Plus, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ 900, and Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals AI 900. I’m currently preparing for the CompTIA Security Plus certification to expand my understanding of system hardening, threat management, and secure infrastructure.
