Hi. I am sameer konda, specialization is Plant Pathology and molecular biology, I have done research in an ICAR scheme @ Masters and isolated a bacteria( pseudomoans stutzeri and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) from Phyllosphere which shown excellent antagonistic activity against Fusarium verticilloides in both in-vitro and in-vivo conditions, well experienced in molecular work.In doctorate, I have gone depth into metabolic profiling and nutrient analysis, ionomics, metagenomics, TEM and SEM. Well versed in both analysis and handling the equipments. Developed Management schedule for Citrus greening/ HLB disease and unraveled the volatile metabolites resistant to CLas and found transmission evidence of "Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus through identification and characterization of insect vectors, Grafting techniques focusing mainly on Mandarin Orange and other citrus varieties. Currently working in Plant and microbe Genomics.
