About Sameer Luqman

I am an experienced project manager with a solid background in education, educational technology, disaster risk management, and capacity-building, currently working with UNESCO. For over a decade, I have been committed to DRR, resilience education, increasing enrollment and retention of Out-of-School Girls (OOSG) in marginalized areas, leveraging technology to drive change. I have introduced technology-enabled solutions to expand access in public sector schools and non-formal education settings, and I have led strategic programs that made a measurable impact on education access, resilience, and disaster risk management. My work includes designing educational resources, adapting learning games, and organizing large-scale capacity-building programs for students and teachers. I am a Trainer on DRR and Safe Schools initiative and have departed capacity building training on DRR and school safety to various organizations nationally and internationally. I have a proven track record on stakeholder and donor coordination in DRR. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I implemented a large-scale, technology-driven education program to bridge learning gaps, significantly improving learning outcomes.
