About Sameer Malik

Co-Founder and CBO of Vgenomics, a biotech company developing diagnostics and therapeutics for genetic diseases. Our mission is to solve rare diseases one by one and then all at once. The only way to solve for rare diseases. Before Vgenomics, I was involved in setting up an investing platform for blockchain companies. Earlier I worked as a technology commercialization expert, my core experience is in designing and implementing technology commercialization programs for early-stage ventures, corporate, and universities. Designed and led start-up programs as an organizer across India, and South Asia, led technology commercialization programs as a trainer in Dubai, Germany, U.S, and in China as a facilitator for Unleash, an innovation program for entrepreneurs working on SDGs. I am a business generalist, with experience as an entrepreneur, a corporate employee, a U.S. government employee, mentor, incubator director, and also as an independent contractor. As an independent contractor, I led AISEA, an accelerator program for social ventures by IIT Hyderabad, a renowned institution in India. I spearheaded Nexus, for the U.S. government for two years as a Director of Operations. Prior to Nexus, I was the co-founder and managing partner of Galaxy Exports, a manufacturer of home décor products. The startup continues to clock over $1 Million in yearly revenues to this day.
