About Sameer Mishra

I’m passionate about making a positive impact, simplifying the solution and building customer-centric applications. I have 13+ years of experience in the “design, build, release, maintenance” of web-based applications and around 10+ years of experience in the eCommerce domain. To date, I have been part of 10 eCommerce implementations, for clients from different industries, geographies (India, US, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia), and projects in different phases. I have played multiple roles (developer, dev. lead, technical architect, solution architect) in projects focusing on various aspects of the eCommerce implementation and rollouts. Over the years I have built expertise on multiple eCommerce solutions – primarily on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and SF Commerce Cloud with some exposure to Adobe Commerce Cloud, Spryker, Commercetools. In addition to eCommerce solutions, I also have experience of working on CMS, PIM, Integration, CDP, Analytics, and Marketing Solutions/Platforms. I have worked on and built different aspects of eCommerce setup - core commerce (cart, price, checkout, order.), search engine setup, integrations, CMS, personalization, fulfilment, analytics, reporting, logging & monitoring, master data management, etc. As a Technical/Solution Architect, I have led multiple teams (small to large), acted as a bridge between business and technology, worked on data modelling, integration designs, release management (strategy, reviews), developed features, delivered tech. designs for functional, non-functional requirements. I started my career as a developer, and to this day I’m very hands-on and comfortable in building features, writing code, testing, and releasing the feature. In addition to technical expertise, I also have experience in defining/refining the eCommerce strategy (as-is state & to-be state definition, release, and implementation plan), working with the business - building the business case, defining KPIs, building teams ( & capabilities).
