About Sameer Nigam

I am an IIT-BHU (Mechanical Engineering) graduate and TAPMI-Manipal (Financial Management) post graduate with more than 20 years of hands-on as well as strategic professional experience in bidding, proposal negotiations, business development, and international & national sales. Since more than a decade now, I have been successfully winning bids and proposals with the funding agencies (such as ADB, UNDP, and World Bank) and the regional governments, by creating and participating as consortium of international & national consultants across the world in domains including but not limited to climate change, disaster management, and land management. My vast network of consultants include experts from Universities, NGOs, local firms, and international consulting organizations, who associate with us in winning the projects worldwide. The Bidding Division that I head is adept in preparing and submitting the winning proposals (technical and financial) on various international e-procurement systems such as ADB CMS, World Bank eConsult, UNDP Atlas, and the e-procurement portals from state governments in India. As part of my demanding job profile, I have also widely travelled to UK, US and other countries where I have participated in international forums such as ADB Business Opportunities Forum in Phillipines, ESRI User and Business Partner Conferences in US, Outsourcing events in UK, and climate change & disaster management events in India.
