About Sameer Sheth

Sameer is currently the Chief Operating Officer for 1Valet, a leading company in the Real Estate Property Technology Industry. In his previous role (2023 to 2024) as part of Rogers Business, Sameer was accountable for the P/L and Product Management of Wireline products nationally for the combined Rogers and Shaw business. In 2022/2023, he was also accountable for the IoT portfolio of products for Rogers covering Wireless Private Networks and leading Service Expansion program delivery. As the leader of 5G Product Management and Customer readiness at Rogers from 2019-2021, Sameer was accountable for developing 5G products and driving cross functional Go to Market (GTM). This included product definition, agile delivery, business case development, co-creating complex 5G solutions with partners and developing new commercialization models that take advantage of 5G. Prior to Rogers, Sameer was the Leader/GM of Video Solutions and Carrier Applications for Nortel. Sameer has extensive experience in incubating new businesses, building new teams, engaging with customers to improve productivity using Agile delivery best practices and creating new revenue generating applications. A business leader with 30 years experience in the IT and Communications industries (ICT), he also has significant breadth in working with customers globally. He has particular depth in business Incubation, Strategy, People Management of large Multi-disciplinary teams including Product Management, R+D, Marketing and Operations. He successfully established Nortel’s IPTV/Video business and is now focused on leading Rogers Product Management and GTM teams to drive new 5G businesses for Rogers. Prior to joining Rogers and Nortel, Mr. Sheth held engineering and operations roles with leading service providers in the Cable/Multiple System Operators (MSO) industry. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Toronto, Canada.
