I am a pioneer in project finance, having worked in the field of non-recourse project finance since 1996 (with ANZ, Standard Chartered and now, British International Investment) and have accumulated unparalleled and extensive experience in this field over these past years. My passion for helping finance projects was nurtured during the four years that I worked on power sector reforms with the World Bank. Understanding the operational and financial complexities of the sector and being involved in designing sector regulation, helped me get a unique perspective on assessing bankability of projects especially in emerging countries with sub-investment grade offtakers.
