Passionate Biomaterials Researcher | Seeking New Opportunities 🔬 Hello I'm Sameera Peri a results-driven Biomaterials Researcher with a strong academic foundation in biotechnology chemistry and microbiology. Over the past 1.7 years I've had the privilege of contributing my expertise to the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (DBT- inStem) where I've been immersed in the exciting and ever-evolving world of biomaterials. During this tenure I have worked on the development of Non-antibody mediated Transfusion Related Acute Lung Injury (TRALI) in mice model and have engineered electrospun nanofibres to increase the quality and shelf-life of old stored blood. I have also worked on developing Bio-degradable Microneedles for Transdermal Drug Delivery. Currently at Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) I am investigating Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) and its therapeutic targets. I'm on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities in the field of biomaterials. I'm passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to drive advancements in this dynamic field whether it's contributing to groundbreaking research product development or leading innovative projects.
