I have over 25 years of experience in the oil industry. I worked as a Surface Seismic Processing Geophysicist for Petroleum Geo-services, where I was in charge of processing Land/Marine, 2D/3D data. By using velocity analysis, wavelet processing filters, and other contemporary techniques, I was able to improve the quality of the data. I was also a Borehole Geophysicist for Schlumberger, where I was in charge of processing ZVSP & Offset VSP, creating Synthetic Seismogram and Composite Log as the final delivery to the client. I relocated to Egypt, where I was assigned to the Petrophysics domain, focusing on Sonic Processing (DSI/Sonic Scanner) and conducting Petrophysical evaluations using Elan. Recognizing the demand for a geophysicist with a background in Petrophysics, I joined the Reservoir Seismic Services Group (RSS) as a Rock Physicist. In this role, I had the opportunity to integrate Surface Seismic, Borehole Seismic, and Petrophysics to conduct Rock Physics analysis, fluid substitution, and AVO modeling, as well as engage in Zero Phasing and Velocity Modeling. Additionally, I gained exposure to Reservoir Geophysics, participating in Seismic Inversion (both Pre and Post Stack). In January 2010, I became a Well Data Manager at RWE. By January 2013, I transitioned to the Geophysics team as a Reservoir Geophysicist, where I performed integrated Reservoir Characterization Studies. In November 2014, I joined Ikon Science as an Inversion Specialist, with my initial assignment in Chennai, India. My responsibilities included executing Rock Physics Analysis, conducting feasibility studies, performing the final inversion, and presenting the results to clients, along with preparing comprehensive reports for seven fields. Subsequently, I worked as an Inversion Specialist Consultant at Blade Energy Partners. I also operated as a freelance geophysical consultant and taught Reservoir Geophysics at Ain-Shams University. Later, I joined Addax Petroleum as an Inversion Consultant and taught geophysics at Alexandria University. Currently, I serve as Seismic Analysis Specialist for Petroleum Research Center which is subsidiary of National Oil Corporation in Libya. I worked in Egypt, UAE, USA, UK, Germany, India, Nigeria, etc. My software proficiencies include RokDoc, CMUI, Geoframe, Petrel, IP, ArcGIS, and MS Office.
