About Sameh Shata

With over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, I am a senior manager of marketing at e & UAE "Formerly Etisalat", the leading telecom operator in the region. I am responsible for managing the full P&L, strategy, marketing, sales, customer experience, and digital efforts for the devices and digital adjacencies portfolio, which includes VoLTE, VoWiFi, eSIM, 5G, mobile handsets, accessories, wearables, VR/AR/XR, drones, smart living, IoT, gaming, and emerging products. My core competencies include subscriber growth strategy, digital commerce, strategic partnerships, business development, engagement and retention, commercial planning, and P&L performance. I have a proven track record of delivering substantial commercial targets and budgets, and ensuring excellent commercial performance for the organization. I have also led digital transformational projects with cross-functional teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders from various backgrounds. Additionally, I hold a Blue Ocean Strategy Certification from Informa Middle East, and have completed several courses on critical thinking, problem solving, and SWOT analysis from LinkedIn. My mission is to drive revenue and growth through marketing innovation and strategic partnerships, and to create value for the customers and the company.
