About Sameh Youssef

With over 16 years of work experience in engineering, event management, and acoustic consulting, I am a versatile and dynamic professional who can deliver high-quality solutions for various projects and clients. As the Associate Director for Events Technical Support Services at The American University in Cairo (AUC), I oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all events on campus, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence and innovation. I also manage the budget, resources, and staff of the event services unit, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create memorable and impactful experiences. In addition, I work as a freelance Acoustic Consultant, providing electro acoustic simulation and design services for venues, studios, and theaters, using EASE software and other tools. I have a strong background in electrical power engineering, and I have acquired multiple certifications in strategic thinking, managing teams, and Dante audio networking. Some of the skills that I use in my current and past roles include agile methodologies, scrum, and problem solving. I am passionate about enhancing the quality and efficiency of event services and acoustic solutions in Egypt, and I strive to learn new skills and technologies to stay ahead of the curve. I value collaboration, creativity, and customer satisfaction, and I aim to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
