Board-certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology Subspecialty from the American Board of Pathology, with years of experience in diagnostic pathology and medical education. Currently serving as an Attending Pathologist at Lenox Hill Hospital and Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine. Expertise includes diagnostic evaluation and multidisciplinary collaboration across hematopathology, neuropathology, and gastrointestinal pathology. Trained at renowned institutions such as Montefiore Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital, with a strong foundation in fellowship and residency programs. In parallel to his medical career, a professional-level violinist and the Founder and Artistic Director of the Syrian Music Preservation Initiative (SMPI). Under his leadership, SMPI’s chamber music group has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Roulette Intermedium, and the Kennedy Center. His work with SMPI demonstrates a profound commitment to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Syrian music, sharing its beauty with global audiences and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
