About Sami Holt

As a Office Support Assistant at Missouri S&T, I apply my learning agility, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities to support students and staff in various educational settings. I have a Substitute Teacher and a Paraprofessional Certification issued by Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, as well as a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification issued by American Red Cross. I am also a proud member of the SALUTE Honor Society, which recognizes academic excellence and leadership among student veterans at Columbia College. In addition to my teaching experience and various support roles, I am a Published Children’s Author & Illustrator, with two books, a daily planner, and reflections journal all published on Amazon. I write and illustrate stories that inspire children to embrace their differences, help others, and appreciate the beauty and wonder of the world around them. My goal is to obtain a position that will allow me to utilize my strong work ethic and social skills, as well as my creativity and love for helping others, in a solid foundation for career development.
