For most of my career, I have been hunting for new business (New Logo) or new opportunities for up/cross selling in existing accounts, creating Sales & Marketing Strategies, running sales campaigns, creating business plans and so much more. I have sold into both public and private sectors, working closely with MDs, CEOs, Network & IT Directors, local and central government departments, as well as SME’s, schools, colleges and estate agents. I have designed and implemented sales strategies from scratch i.e. identified a niche in the market, performed in-depth research and analysis, found channels into the market and aggressively sold products and services to the clients. Specialities: Business Development - finding (new) ways to acquire customers, maximise margins and position businesses. Business Acumen – Started my own business(es) where I was responsible for positioning the business in a heavily dense IT (WLAN) space. The role covered branding, the sales strategy, sales pipeline, marketing and new business development (full sales cycle). Technical Prowess - Solid understanding of Cyber Security, IT and Telecoms markets (corporate and public sector) including: Data (IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, IP-VPN, MPLS), Voice (VoIP, IP Telephony), Hosting (Cloud, Managed, Co-Location), IP-TV (including Bedside Entertainment Solutions), Audio/Visual (Video Conferencing), Managed Services, Digital Signage) and more. To summarise, I have developed business in a variety of sectors, at many levels; created business opportunities and managed people, businesses and entire sale campaigns, and proved successful.
