Senior Finance Advisor at Business Finland with vast experience of working on financial modelling in over 15 transactions in various industries. During free time I have completed a financial modelling training program from BIWS, where I completed case studies on Toro, Stadler Rail, Steel Dynamics and Builders FirstSource’s $2.5 billion acquisition of BMC Stock Holdings. In Toro's case study I created 3-statement projections to analyze whether increasing significantly its Dividend Payout Ratio and Stock Repurchases are a good strategy for maximizing shareholder value. Concluded that modest increase in Dividends and Stock Repurchases are better options. Additional better options are keeping margins up and/or refinancing its debt and spending funds on useful acquisitions. Completed Stadler Rail 3-statement modeling case study; determined that company could use 100% Debt funding while complying with its maximum Leverage Ratio and Debt / Total Capital. Built DCF analysis for Steel Dynamics starting from blank sheet in Excel; concluded that company was overvalued by 5-15% and that it should not pursue sell-side M&A process. Built accretion / dilution analysis for Builders FirstSource’s $2.5 billion acquisition of BMC Stock Holdings; concluded that offer price was reasonable, but that deal should be funded with a mix of Cash, Debt, and Stock rather than 100% Stock.
