About Sami Wong

Sami Wong has over 20 years of experience working as a qualitative, in-depth psychological researcher, and is currently the founder and managing director of 3 Drips Research + Consulting (Beijing, China). Sami also works in the field of clinical psychology, has been a contract psychotherapist and advisor for Beijing Tsinghua University, as well as an occasional guest speaker at the University seminars since 2008. In addition to this, Sami has extensive experience presenting in various conferences, such as ESOMAR, QUAL360, MRMW and NewMR, and has also been a guest speaker on the CCTV English Chanel Program, “Crossover”, which discussed the educational system on a global scale. She is also a regular guest speaker for CGTN (China Global Television Network) programs and has been invited to LIVE for China24 and Asia Today. Recently, Sami was invited as the expert guest (psychology) on the Tencent Reality Program. Sami was raised with both a Chinese and Australian cultural background; she lives between Hong Kong, Beijing, and Melbourne. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently, and a moderate level of Japanese. Besides this, her research work frequently takes her across Asia Pacific, America, and Europe. As a result of her multi-national background and working experience, Sami is very passionate about human behaviours, as well as the cultural influences on people's lifestyle and their mental wellbeing.
