About Samik Vithani

I have studied at London Southbank University and have achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance. I chose this subject because I consider that financial economics governs how UK PLC’s are doing and performing in line with other major economies and I would like to be in an industry, which can steer this performance. I am also looking towards gaining my ACCA qualification, through my degree I have gained 9 exemptions, which will allow me to become a fully qualified accountant faster. Time Management, Meeting Deadlines, Willingness to Learn and Improve and the Ability to Adapt to the Situation, are all key strengths I feel I have, alongside the Drive and Excitement which arise when I get the opportunity find the best possible way to solve and improve a project in an efficient and innovative way. While the opportunities have been fictional scenarios, this has made me want to solve possible real life scenarios relating to the Finance Sector. My main skill would be the need to understand; Why a decision is being made. This allows you to get a full picture of the environment you are in and grants you a greater knowledge for the future.
