About Samir Geday

As the Chief Investment Officer at Iktifaa, a new industrial holding company, I lead the strategic planning and execution of investment opportunities in the MENA region, focusing on the energy, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. With over 15 years of experience in business development, project management, and financial analysis, I have a proven track record of generating and closing deals, forming partnerships, and launching start-ups that create value and impact. I am also a board member and the chief of business development at Al Wessil Holding, the developer of Energy City Qatar, a 2.4 billion dollar project that aims to be the region's first and most advanced energy business center. I am responsible for overseeing the brand development, commercial transactions, market research, and sales strategy of the project, as well as advising new businesses on the formation and structure of corporations. I leverage my strong interpersonal skills, multicultural experience, and extensive network to connect with decision makers and stakeholders in the industry and promote the project's vision and goals.
