Hello! My name is Samir Sajjad, and I am a recent graduate from Saint Xavier University with a degree in Mass Media Communications. I have prior experience in influencer marketing, and advertising as I have been intimately involved with promotion, and release campaigns for significant underground hip-hop artists in the Chicago, and Cleveland music scene. In my first year of college, I worked with Victory Capital Asset Management as a part of a Summer internship, where I was tasked with completing research for the firm in order to analyze future trends in retail stores. Along with my expansive knowledge of current trends, my knowledge of social media marketing has allowed me to be successful at generating campaigns. This experience was provided to me through my internship at Smart Choice Windows in Cleveland, OH. Here, I was able to use marketing tactics to generate leads for the company, and project the company image through scheduled social media posts, and variations of content ranging from videos, to graphic design. On average, I would run around 4-5 posts weekly, while showcasing new deals on installments and products, as well as a complete revitalization of all of our social media pages. The company required cohesiveness online, and I was able to provide that through brand awareness, and a firm social media presence in order to ultimately generate leads for the company itself. A large part of this role was to track engagement across all platforms used to market our company, in order to tailor campaigns in the future, identity how well we were able to reach our target audience, and attract more traffic towards our website/online presence I am currently looking to dive into the world of marketing, and communications by working for a firm that will provide me with the necessary knowledge and experience to achieve success, and growth in my career
